AI Generation
Setup : BYOK keys
- 5HOW.ME does not pay for generation. Register each provider's API key yourself under "API Keys" at the bottom left (BYOK).
- Civitai can be linked by account connection (OAuth) without a key.
- Running with a provider that has no key shows a "no key" error.
Providers
Civitai (cvai) · Runware (rnwr) · Replicate (rplc) · WaveSpeed (wvsp) · fal (falz) · Beeble (bble) · LaoZhang (lzhg) · Gemini (gggm). Categories, models, and input fields differ per provider and are loaded live in the generate node's settings.
Run procedure
- Add a generate (gnrt) node and in its details set provider → category → model → input fields.
- Connect prompt and media nodes with data links. Linked nodes are merged into the input at run time. Multiple prompts stack by prio descending, then by vertical position.
- Press the node's run button to open the confirmation dialog. It shows a summary of the request with your balance and the estimated cost (when the provider supports it).
- Only after you confirm is the request submitted and credit consumed. Cancelling costs nothing.
Results
- When finished, the result file is placed next to the generate node as a media node and joined with a description link. Text results become prompt nodes.
- Generation continues even if you close the browser; reopening restores and places the results.
- Request history (model, settings) can be engraved into result nodes. Choose the engraving mode in the confirmation dialog (stack = into the file, include = node only, skip).
Failures
- On failure the reason is shown as a toast. Insufficient balance, expired keys, and unavailable models are the common causes.
