5how.me has been selected as a Civitai Apps Launch Partner. Civitai Apps is a program that, ahead of its official release, selects a group of around 10 indie developers and creative builders from all over the world, and 5how.me is part of that very first cohort. Founded in the United States in 2022, it raised investment from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), a leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm, and has grown into a global platform with more than 200,000 models and tens of millions of visitors.
The heart of this program is that it lets developers build creative AI apps without having to shoulder GPU costs or payment infrastructure on their own. Because Civitai's API and login (OAuth) allow users to pay directly with their own credits, 5how.me can focus entirely on crafting the 'experience.'
